Course in Community Mediation Skills
COMMUNITY MEDIATION SKILLS
Our 5 days course in Community Mediation Skills helps you to develop the skills, knowledge and personal attributes to become a community mediator. You will learn how to deal with conflict better - at home, in the workplace, in the community.
Resolve has devised a highly successful and practical course which gives you all the skills to get started as a mediator. Those who complete the Community Mediation Skills course will be eligible to join a two day course in Advanced Mediation Skills, which is a requirement to join Resolve's mediator team. Resolve community mediators benefit from ongoing training and supervision and join a progression path which can lead to paid sessional work.

Skills training
We run a range of open and tailored in-house training courses. If there is a group of people in your organisation who would like training in mediation, conflict resolution or associated skills, we are very happy to run a course at a location of your choice. We can train groups of any size and charge per half day. If you let us know details we can tailor the course and related discussions to the situations you face.
Forthcoming training courses
CROSS TRAINING FOR TRAINED MEDIATORS
This popular 2 day cross training course is for mediators who have trained in related areas such as commercial mediation and who want to participate in community mediation. This has proved a highly popular course with some excellent feedback. The course fee is £395.
